Ingredients:

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 pounds boneless chuck beef, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
2 cups chopped onion
1 can (14 ounces) beef broth
1 cup beer or water
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
Note: may substitute 1 can diced tomatoes for tomato paste and water/beer
3 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons fresh minced garlic
1 teaspoon oregano leaves
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon MortonĀ® Season-AllĀ® Seasoned Salt
2 cans (15 ounces each) black beans, rinsed and drained

Directions:

1. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add beef in batches; brown on all sides. Drain fat; set beef aside.

2. Add onion; cook and 5 minutes or until softened. Add beef and remaining ingredients, except beans. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

3. Add beans; simmer 20 minutes. Serve with shredded Cheddar cheese or sour cream, if desired.
